Pure Maple Syrup Pure Maple Syrup was first made by Native Americans and then by the settlers to North America. It is made by collecting sap from Maple trees and boiling away water until only syrup remains. The sap has 2% to 3% sugar as it comes from the tree. The finished syrup has 66% to 68% sugar. Nothing is added. View Maple Syrup Products Pure Maple Cream Maple Syrup boiled to a thicker consistency, cooled fast and churned into a delicious spread.
