Pure Maple Syrup
Pure Maple Syrup was first made by Native Americans and then by the settlers to North America. It is made by collecting sap from Maple trees and boiling away water until only syrup remains. The sap has 2% to 3% sugar as it comes from the tree. The finished syrup has 66% to 68% sugar. Nothing is added.

Pure Maple Sugar
Granulated Maple Sugar may be used in hot cereals, coffee, or sprinkled on toast. You may use it in recipes in place of white or brown sugar. Like all Maple products, it has less calories, and is more readily used by your body, than stored.
